            Baseball Recap: Dunellen Destroyers vs. Somerset Tech Jaguars        
        
		
        
        
            After only two  runs in their last  contest, Dunellen made sure to put some  runs up on the board against Somerset Tech  on Tuesday. The Destroyers skirted past the Jaguars  10-8. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  8-6  on May 2nd.

 Mark Stein made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  tossed three innings while giving up just two earned  (and two unearned) runs off   six  hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  double. That's the most  stolen bases  he has posted  over his last ten  matches.
 Stein wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Ryan Hutchins, who  got on base  in three of his five plate appearances with two  stolen bases and two  runs. Hutchins has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times he's  played.  Cole Mayer was another,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  RBI.
Dunellen is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record  this season. As for Somerset Tech,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 9-9.
 Coming up, Dunellen will face off against Princeton Day at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Somerset Tech does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
