Soccer Recap: Nyssa Comes Up Short

Nyssa lost against McLoughlin back in August and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Pioneers, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Nyssa can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 107th, while McLoughlin are ranked 35th).

Nyssa now has a losing record of 3-4-2. As for McLoughlin, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Nyssa will venture away from home to face off against Baker/Powder Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for McLoughlin, they will square off against Four Rivers at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
