Softball Recap: Manhattan Comes Up Short

Manhattan kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 16-2 to the Great Bend Panthers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Indians have suffered since April 24, 2024.

The victory keeps Great Bend at an undefeated 5-0.

Manhattan will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Emporia at 4:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for Great Bend, they will challenge McPherson at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
