Soccer Game Preview: Wapato vs. Cascade

The Wapato Wolves will take on the Cascade Kodiaks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Wapato comes in on six and Cascade on eight.

Wapato had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Liberty Bell on Tuesday. Wolves were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Mountain Lions. Considering Wapato have won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Cascade kept a clean sheet against Warden on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 5-0 victory. Cascade are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the seventh game they've won by 3+ goals this season.

Cascade's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 19 goals over those five matches. As for Wapato, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.
