After both having extra time off, the Caroline Cavaliers and the Atlee Raiders will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.
Atlee will be up against a hot Caroline squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Cavaliers never let Freeman get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory last Wednesday.
The result came thanks to Jaidyn Tingen's shutout, as she gave up just five hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season.

The dominant performance also gave Hartsell a new career-high in doubles (two). Alyssa Bray was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
Caroline was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .457. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Freeman only posted a batting average of .174.
Meanwhile, after only one run in their last game, Atlee made sure to put some runs up on the board against Henrico last Thursday. The Raiders put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 14-0 win. The Raiders not only won last Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since May 22, 2024.
Sierra Kegley made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Kegley was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.
In other batting news, Shannon McKeever was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Camdyn Metts, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
