Soccer Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Perry can now relate to. They fell just short of the McKinley Red Dragons by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against McKinley this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on October 4th.

Perry's defeat ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 6-9-5. As for McKinley, they pushed their record up to 19-0-1 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home.

Perry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for McKinley, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-1 victory against Fairview on the 28th.
