 After losing to Southern Wells the last time they met, Eastbrook decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Eastbrook Panthers walked away with  a   9-4  victory over the Southern Wells Raiders  on Wednesday. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Eastbrook.
 The team  relied heavily on  Kyler Hackman, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Austin Mikel, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in two of his five plate appearances.
 On Southern Wells' side,  Jakob Gearheart made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances. Gearheart is crushing it when it comes to  stolen bases: he's   stolen at least one every time he's  taken the field this season.
 Eastbrook's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Southern Wells, they now  have a losing record at 1-2.
 Eastbrook will head out on the road to  face off against  Fort Wayne Canterbury at 10:00  a.m.  in Saturday's  first game. As for Southern Wells, they will look to defend their home field  on Monday against South Adams at 5:00  p.m.
