Soccer Recap: Gretna Takes a Loss

Gretna fought the good fight in their overtime match against Gretna East on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Griffins by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Gretna have lost by just one goal.

Gretna now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Gretna East, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Looking ahead, Gretna will host Scotus at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Scotus will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Gretna surely won't give up without a fight. As for Gretna East, they will face off against Skutt Catholic on Tuesday.
