Volleyball Game Preview: Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs vs. Garner Trojans

Southeast Raleigh is 0-10 against Garner since October of 2021 but things could change on Monday. The Bulldogs will square off against the Trojans at 5:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Southeast Raleigh came up short against South Garner on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Southeast Raleigh was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The final score came out to 25-16, 26-24, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Garner came up short against Fuquay - Varina on Thursday and fell 3-1.

While Garner had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 23-25, 25-23, 25-23.

Southeast Raleigh's loss dropped their record down to 0-19. As for Garner, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-7.

Southeast Raleigh suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Garner when the teams last played back in September. Can the Bulldogs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
