Basketball Game Preview: Fort Osage Indians vs. Platte County Pirates

The Fort Osage Indians will venture away from home to square off against the Platte County Pirates at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Monday, Fort Osage came up short against Blue Springs South and fell 47-37.

Meanwhile, Platte County unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell to Park Hill 55-49.

Fort Osage's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-6. As for Platte County, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

Fort Osage couldn't quite finish off Platte County when the teams last played back in January of 2024 and fell 33-31. Can Fort Osage avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
