Volleyball Recap: Brooklyn Butchino and Lennon Abate Secure Win for Harding + How To Watch

Harding not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 19, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Harvey Red Raiders 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Skippers also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Harding was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-9, 25-23.

Leading Harding to victory were Lennon Abate and Brooklyn Butchino. Abate had nine digs and three aces, while Butchino had eight digs and seven assists. The dominant performance also gave Butchino a new career-high in kills (four).

The victory got Harding back to even at 1-1. As for Harvey, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Harding didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against St. John on the 21st. As for Harvey, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Cleveland Heights on the 19th.
