Red Bud is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 60-58 heartbreaker at the hands of New Athens. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Musketeers have suffered since January 19th.

Meanwhile, everything went Carlyle's way against Jersey on Sunday as Carlyle made off with a 65-40 win. The Indians/Lady Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Red Bud's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Carlyle, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-2.

Red Bud didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Carlyle in their previous meeting back in February, but they still walked away with a 42-36 win. Does Red Bud have another victory up their sleeve, or will Carlyle turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
