Volleyball Recap: Ava Houchins Key Part of Team Effort in Titans Win

After losing to Non Varsity Opponent the last time they met, Tri decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Titans walked away with a 2-0 victory over Non Varsity Opponent on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Titans.

Tri got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ava Houchins out in front who had 14 digs and two aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Camrie Spurgin, who had seven digs and two aces.

Tri now has a winning record of 8-7.

Coming up, Tri will face off against Knightstown at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Non Varsity Opponent, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Fruitland on the 20th.
