Football Recap: Mills Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for Mills's offense. They lost 25-0 to the Redwood Christian Eagles on Friday.

Brian Lourenco threw for 41 yards on seven of 17 attempts.

Redwood Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Elijah Pineda, who threw for 115 yards and two TDs while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 98 yards on only seven carries. The dominant performance also gave Pineda a new career-high in passer rating (145.8). Landon Devoe-Krowicki helped out on the ground, rushing for 108 yards and a rushing touchdown.

Mills' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Redwood Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mills will head out to square off against Harbor at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Redwood Christian, they will square off against Galileo on Saturday.
