Volleyball Recap: South-Doyle's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

South-Doyle lost against West Ridge back in August of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cherokees fell 2-0 to the Wolves. The loss put an end to the Cherokees' undefeated start to the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead West Ridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Myra Copas, who had four digs and two aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, South-Doyle fell to 2-1. As for West Ridge, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Coming up, South-Doyle is taking a road trip to take on Lenoir City at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Ridge, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Anderson County on the 23rd.
