On Friday, Thompson faced Prattville in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Thompson Warriors fell 2-0 to the Prattville Lions. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Thompson's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5-1. As for Prattville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

As for Prattville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Prattville face off against Auburn at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
