While Dell Rapids's win against Hamlin wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Quarriers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Chargers 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Quarriers in their matchups with the Chargers: they've now won four in a row.

Dell Rapids had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-22, 25-19.

Madelynn Henry paced Dell Rapids' offense, picking up 15 kills. Henry got some help from Tenley Anderson and her 25 assists.

Dell Rapids' victory bumped their record up to 13-1. As for Hamlin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Looking ahead, Dell Rapids will challenge Garretson at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hamlin, they will face off against Estelline/Hendricks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
