Baseball Recap: Corry Takes a Loss

After flying high against Warren on Saturday, Corry came back down to earth. The Beavers took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fairview Tigers on Monday. If the Beavers were looking for revenge after losing 9-2 to the Tigers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Corry saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karson Chamberlin, who went 1-for-4 with one run and one double.

Corry's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Fairview, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2.

Corry wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 6-3 victory against Northwestern on the 22nd. As for Fairview, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-4 win against North East on the 16th.
