Soccer Recap: Neshannock Takes a Loss

Neshannock was the 1-0 winner over Eden Christian Academy when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Lancers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eden Christian Academy on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Neshannock came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 150th, while Eden Christian Academy are ranked 446th).

Neshannock's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5-2. As for Eden Christian Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Coming up, Neshannock will be playing in front of their home fans against Sewickley Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Eden Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Beaver County Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Beaver County Christian's defense has only allowed 0.2 goals per game this season, so Eden Christian Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them.
