Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against Coral Shores, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Stallions had just enough and edged out the Hurricanes 3-2 on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Stallions sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Somerset Academy (Silver Palms) who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 20-25, 25-22, 19-25, 15-10.

When it comes to explaining why Coral Shores lost, don't look at Ivy Tiedemann. Despite the final result, she had 21 digs and six assists. Tiedemann has been hot, having posted 14 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Somerset Academy (Silver Palms)'s win bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Coral Shores, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 9-6.
