Volleyball Recap: Waynesboro Gets the Win

Waynesboro won the last time they faced Cumberland and things went their way on Saturday too. The Little Giants came out on top against the Dukes by a score of 2-0.

Jordan Smith paced Waynesboro's offense, picking up eight kills. Smith got some help from Morgan Harlow and her four assists. Harlow was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

The victory got Waynesboro back to even at 1-1. As for Cumberland, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Waynesboro has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Spotsylvania on the 30th. As for Cumberland, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Broadway on the 30th.
