Baseball Recap: Cibola Takes a Loss

Cibola came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 8-1 to the Youngker Roughriders.

Cibola saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jaxun McNeece, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Cibola's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Youngker, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-5.

Cibola does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Youngker, they will face off against Paradise Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Roughriders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
