Volleyball Recap: Atlantic Comes Up Short

The Atlantic Sharks came up short against the East River Falcons on Monday, falling 3-0. The Sharks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Atlantic was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22, 25-19.

Atlantic's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for East River, the win snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-7 record.

Looking ahead, Atlantic will look to defend their home court on Friday against Hagerty at 7:00 p.m. As for East River, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when East River Falcons face off against Edgewater Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. They are facing Edgewater at the right time seeing as Edgewater is stuck on a four-game losing streak.
