Volleyball Recap: North Side Steers vs. South Hills Scorpions
North Side won the last time they faced South Hills, and things went their way on Friday too. The North Side Steers blew past the South Hills Scorpions 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Steers.
North Side walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-13, 25-16.
North Side was led to victory by Zoie Orta and Nyla Ortiz. Orta had ten digs and two aces, while Ortiz had 12 digs.
They weren't the only good server: North Side was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as South Hills only served five.
