Basketball Game Preview: South County Stallions vs. Fairfax Lions

South County is on a three-game streak of home losses, Fairfax a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The South County Stallions will welcome the Fairfax Lions at 7:30 p.m.

On Tuesday, South County came up short against West Potomac and fell 58-47.

Meanwhile, Fairfax had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against West Springfield by a score of 52-40 on Tuesday.

South County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Fairfax, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-10.

South County came out on top in a nail-biter against Fairfax in their previous meeting two weeks ago, sneaking past 39-36. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Fairfax's Cam Yingling, who posted 19 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.
