Volleyball Recap: Shakamak's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Shakamak entered their tilt with North Central on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Thunderbirds with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Lakers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-7, 25-11.

Brylee Faulk paced Shakamak's offense, picking up 12 kills. Faulk got some help from Ava Landry and her 24 assists. Madelyn Kennett controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

Shakamak's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for North Central, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Coming up, Shakamak will be playing at home against Riverton Parke at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Central, they are taking a road trip to challenge Clay City at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
