Basketball Recap: Bronte Takes a Loss

Bronte was the 42-35 winner over Blackwell when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bronte Longhorns had to suffer through a 41-6 loss at the hands of the Blackwell Hornets. The contest marked the Longhorns' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Bronte has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-11 record this season. As for Blackwell, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

When Bronte and Blackwell next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Bronte will try to stop Garden City's 17-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Blackwell will take on Irion County and their three-game winning streak at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
