Annabelle Rakers and Jenna Nehrbass certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Rakers went 8-for-16 on her way to 20 points, while Nehrbass posted six points. That was a full 64.5% of Flatirons Academy's points, marking the sixth time in a row Rakers has scored more than a third of the team's points.

Heritage Christian's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Samantha Snow, who shot 63% from the field to rack up 13 points. Sophia Case was another key player, as she made all 6 shots she took to post 14 points.

Flatirons Academy's loss dropped their record down to 17-5. As for Heritage Christian, the win was the 17th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-2.
