Volleyball Recap: Perry-Lecompton Extends Winning Streak to Three

Perry-Lecompton entered their tilt with Anderson County on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bulldogs. The Kaws have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

The victory didn't come easy: Anderson County scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19.

Macie Corcoran paced Perry-Lecompton's offense, picking up ten kills. Corcoran got some help from Emmy Reed and her 23 assists. Paxton Damme controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Perry-Lecompton's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Anderson County, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Perry-Lecompton didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 victory against Paola on the 27th. As for Anderson County, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Osawatomie on the 27th.
