Football Recap: City College Takes a Loss

After flying high against Patterson last Thursday, City College came back down to earth. The Black Knights fell 32-22 to the Forest Park Foresters on Friday. The Black Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Foresters apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2019.

Forest Park can attribute much of their success to David Chambers, who threw for 147 yards and three TDs, and also punched in one score on the ground.

City College's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Forest Park, their record now sits at 3-1.

Looking ahead, City College will take on Mergenthaler Vo-Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Forest Park, they will challenge Poly at 3:45 p.m. on Friday.
