Basketball Recap: Newman Takes a Loss

Newman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were beaten by the Edgar Wildcats 64-34. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 60-52 back in January.

Newman's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Edgar, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-12.

As of now, neither Newman nor Edgar have any future games scheduled.
