Football Game Preview: Groves Falcons vs. Seaholm Maples + How To Watch

The Groves Falcons are taking a road trip to take on the Seaholm Maples at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Groves will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

On Friday, Groves took their matchup with ease, bagging a 42-14 victory over Avondale. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 54th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 382nd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 42 points the game before, Seaholm was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were dealt a 45-7 defeat at the hands of Adams. The game marked the Maples' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Seaholm has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season. As for Groves, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Everything came up roses for Groves against Seaholm when the teams last played back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 36-7 victory. In that game, the Falcons amassed a halftime lead of 29-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Friday.
