Basketball Game Preview: St. Joseph Spartans vs. Summit Academy Knights

The St. Joseph Spartans will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against the Summit Academy Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

St. Joseph's tournament run continued when they took on Winchester Thurston last Saturday. The match between St. Joseph and Winchester Thurston didn't end well, with St. Joseph falling 65-48. The Spartans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Summit Academy can finally bid farewell to their six-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Thursday. They walked away with a 53-45 victory over Hillel Academy.

St. Joseph now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Summit Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Things could have been worse for St. Joseph, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 57-43 loss to Summit Academy when the teams last played back in February.
