Baseball Recap: Andrew Jackson Academy Warriors vs. Calhoun County Saints
Andrew Jackson Academy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against the Calhoun County Saints on Saturday as the Andrew Jackson Academy Warriors made off with an 8-1 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their 18-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Walker Terry was a major factor no matter where he played. He pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Those zero hits allowed gave him a new career-low. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-4. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in runs.
