Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Richland Northeast). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the York Cougars 68-23. The Cavaliers pushed the score to 53-19 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cougars had no chance of recovering from.

York's loss came despite strong showings from Gracin Carroll and Brooklyn Dial. Carroll posted ten points, while Dial scored two points and five rebounds.

Richland Northeast's win bumped their record up to 8-10. As for York, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Richland Northeast will host South Pointe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. South Pointe will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something Richland Northeast surely won't give up without a fight. York has already played their next match (against Lancaster), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
