Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Galena). They breezed past the Dakota Indians to the tune of 46-6 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Pirates as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

The win got Galena back to even at 4-4. As for Dakota, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Galena will challenge rival Fulton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Dakota is set to square off against their familiar foe Pearl City-Eastland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
