Basketball Game Preview: Keys Cougars vs. Quinton Savages

The Keys Cougars will challenge the Quinton Savages at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Keys knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Quinton likes a good challenge.

Keys is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Vian, posting an 82-43 victory. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Quinton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against Broken Bow, falling 85-47. While losing is never fun, Quinton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 392nd, while Broken Bow is ranked 102nd).

Keys' victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Quinton, their loss dropped their record down to 2-17.

Everything came up roses for Keys against Quinton in their previous meeting back in January, as the team secured a 70-12 win. Will Keys repeat their success, or does Quinton have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
