Baseball Recap: Everett Takes a Loss

Everett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Durand Railroaders, falling 20-2. The Vikings were not able to make up for their loss to the Railroaders from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Everett saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Prevo, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.

Everett's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Durand, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-5.

Looking ahead, Everett will be playing in front of their home fans against Central at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Durand, they will square off against Powers Catholic at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
