West Marion was the 3-1 winner over Sacred Heart when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell just short of the Crusaders by a score of 2-1 on Saturday. The Trojans' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

West Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 6-2. As for Sacred Heart, their win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-2.

West Marion wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Salem on the 16th. As for Sacred Heart, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 win against East Marion on the 16th.
