Basketball Recap: Northridge Academy's Win Ends Five-Game Losing Streak on the Road

Northridge Academy won the last time they faced East Valley and things went their way on Friday too. The Northridge Academy Pumas secured a 66-62 W over the East Valley Falcons.

East Valley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Lukas Carone, who went 7 of 13 from beyond the arc on his way to 21 points. Another player making a difference was Jasper Meija, who posted 13 points in addition to six boards and five assists.

Northridge Academy's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-13. As for East Valley, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-4.
