Recap: Bloomington North Cougars vs. Brownstown Central Braves
The Bloomington North Cougars entered their tilt with the Brownstown Central Braves with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Bloomington North managed a 46-42 victory over Brownstown Central on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Bloomington North also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Mia Robbennolt continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last three games she's played. Ava Reitmeyer was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with six rebounds.
Bloomington North pushed their record up to 15-5 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points per game. As for Brownstown Central, their loss dropped their record down to 13-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bloomington North will take on Columbus North at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Brownstown Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Washington at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully West Washington focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Thursday.
