Baseball Recap: Danville Takes a Loss

Danville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Burlington Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bears of the 5-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in June of 2024.

Danville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for West Burlington, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Danville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 13-3 loss against New London on the 6th. As for West Burlington, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 10-3 defeat against Central Lee on the 6th.
