Athlete profiles on MaxPreps.com are some of the most consumed content on the site.

An athlete's profile can spike in views for a variety of reasons: The athlete is a top recruit, the profile got shared out to family and friends, search engines like Google pick up hot trends, the athlete was featured in a news item, and so on.

Here are the top 10 most-viewed athlete pages in the month of February on MaxPreps.com:

Segura was named to the MaxPreps Small Schools All-American Football Team. He was also the Fresno Bee Player of the Year. But what really drove the interest was an ESPN feature on Mendota High School, which featured Segura. Users presumably wanted to learn more about him.
