Softball Recap: Portales Rams vs. Lovington Wildcats
Portales extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 9-9 in the process. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lovington Wildcats. The Rams were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.
Portales saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Annaleah Lujan, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
