Soccer Recap: Canyon Lake Takes a Loss

Canyon Lake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Fredericksburg Billies, falling 6-2. That's two games in a row now that Canyon Lake has lost by exactly four goals.

Canyon Lake's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Fredericksburg, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Canyon Lake will host Bandera at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Canyon Lake has given up an average of 2.9 goals per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week. As for Fredericksburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Marble Falls at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
