            Volleyball Recap: River Valley Vikings vs. Centerburg Trojans        
        
		
        
        
            River Valley suffered their biggest  defeat since September 16th on Thursday. They came up short against  the Centerburg Trojans, falling  3-0. The Vikings haven't had much luck with the Trojans recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.
 While River Valley was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Centerburg's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-22,  25-23.
 Myla Kenney paced River Valley's offense, picking up 15 kills. Kenney got some help from  Hayley Wickersham and her 16 assists.  Arianna Osborne controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
  Molly Kain was nothing short of spectacular for Centerburg: she  had 20  digs and five  assists. That's the most  assists  Kain has posted  over her last seven  matchups.
River Valley's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Centerburg, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record  this season.
 After both having extra time off, River Valley and Eastmoor Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for Centerburg, they are taking a road trip to  square off against Northridge  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
