Mountain View had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.4 goals) and they went ahead and made it six on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Borah Lions a 2-0 shutout. This was a revenge game for Mountain View: when they faced off against Borah back in September, they had to take a 4-2 loss.

Jace Obenchain and Dominick Tristan scored both of Mountain View's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 20 goals.

Mountain View's win bumped their record up to 15-2-1. As for Borah, they moved to 12-4-1 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-match winning streak.

As of now, neither Mountain View nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
