Soccer Recap: Columbia Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Columbia can now relate to. They came up short against the Richland Rangers on Saturday, falling 7-0. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Columbia's loss dropped their record down to 3-12-2. As for Richland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7-1 record this season.

Columbia does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Richland, they will face off against Pass Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Pass Christian sitting on three straight wins and Richland on five.
