Hilton Head Prep kept up with John Paul II until halftime on Wednesday, but afterwards: not so much. The Golden Warrriors were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over the Dolphins. Considering John Paul II have won eight matchups by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Hilton Head Prep with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Emma McKamey, Ayla Reynolds, Finlay Henderson, and Hollis Melnick.

John Paul II is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. As for Hilton Head Prep, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

John Paul II and Hilton Head Prep will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Golden Warrriors see the pitch they'll take on Porter-Gaud at 4:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Hilton Head Prep, their break will end when they face Bluffton at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st.
