Preview: Hatboro-Horsham Hatters vs. Wissahickon Trojans
Hatboro-Horsham has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Tuesday. They will challenge the Wissahickon Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Hatboro-Horsham will be strutting in after a win while Wissahickon will be coming in after a loss.
Last Saturday, Hatboro-Horsham narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Paul Robeson 46-43.
Hatboro-Horsham's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Shane Phillips, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenny Lutz, who scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Wissahickon couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 69-51 bruising from North Penn on Friday.
The losses dropped Hatboro-Horsham to 1-1 and Paul Robeson to 0-2.
Things could have been worse for Hatboro-Horsham, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 53-39 loss to Wissahickon in their previous meeting back in January. Can Hatboro-Horsham avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
